Lights All Night Entry Two (Final and Ink)

This was my second entry into the 'Lights All Night' Festival competition, this time i decided to take an iconic retro game, 'Wipeout' and give it's game art a futuristic makeover. Since the game was already based on racing lightships, i felt it was the perfect mix of retro and futuristic.

I decided since finishing my two main projects of this year that i would fill my time with some smaller ones. For the first of these i decided to enter the Creative Allies competition to design a poster for 'Lights All Night' Festival. The brief asked for a futuristic yet retro gaming feel, for my first entry i decided to go with an old arcade cabinet, but gave it a Tron-like Neon makeover.
